Business / Finance Analyst
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business / Finance Analyst to join our client in Port Harcourt. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to analyze financial and business data, provide insights, and support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and business performance reports
- Support budgeting, financial planning, and variance analysis processes
- Develop financial models and business cases to support strategic initiatives
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights
- Conduct market, cost, and profitability analysis to support management decisions
- Prepare clear reports and presentations for management and stakeholders
- Support risk assessment and cost-control initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in business analysis, financial analysis, or related roles
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA) is an advantage
