Screening Questions: Revenue Operations Analyst (Remote)

Revenue Operations Analyst (Remote)
Location: 100% Remote
Work Timings: 4 pm to 2 am IST
Employment: Full time
About the Role
We’re hiring a Revenue Operations Analyst to drive buyer performance analytics, experimentation, and data accuracy governance across our products. You will not build dashboards; instead, you will ensure data correctness and KPI consistency for Tableau dashboards built by BI developers and convert insights into actions that improve revenue outcomes.
In this role, you’ll act as the analytical backbone of RevOps- connecting buyer/client reporting, internal operational signals, and cross-functional execution. You’ll lead a small team of analysts and oversee interns to maintain fast feedback loops, prioritize the highest-impact issues, and drive measurable improvements through clear RCAs, structured recommendations, and disciplined follow-through.

About the Company
Demandlane is a Silicon Valley–based company focused on case acquisition for lawyers, especially mass tort case acquisition, leveraging AI to improve case acquisition performance. The team includes senior product, marketing, and engineering leaders across India, Indonesia, Nigeria, Romania, and the US, operating in a remote‑first, fast‑paced environment with strong learning and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
1) Buyer Performance Analytics & RCA
Monitor buyer performance KPIs (conversion/CPA/acceptance/fill) and investigate dips or anomalies.

Produce clear RCAs with evidence, recommended actions, and follow-through until resolution.

Provide prescriptive recommendations to bring buyers back to target performance while protecting margin.

2) Experimentation & Improvement Programs
Design and evaluate experiments (hypothesis, success metrics, guardrails, duration, readout).

Partner with cross-functional teams (ML, Product, Engineering, Ops) to test improvements and measure impact.

3) Data Accuracy & Tableau Reporting Governance (No Dashboard Building)
Own KPI definitions and ensure Tableau dashboards reflect the correct “single source of truth.”

Create/maintain metric specifications (definitions, filters, cohorts, edge cases) and run reconciliation checks vs raw data.

Coordinate fixes with BI/Engineering when reporting logic, data pipelines, or mappings are incorrect.

4) Revenue Planning Support
Support forecasting inputs and pacing recommendations to keep delivery stable and meet fill targets.

Track returns/not-received trends and help drive fixes to reduce revenue leakage.

5) Voice AI Performance Feedback
Monitor Voice AI transfer funnel performance (early hangups, transfer success, conversion impact).

Provide structured feedback and improvement ideas to the development team to increase conversions and reduce early hangups.

6) Billing & Reconciliation Support
Assist Biz Dev/Finance with billing validation and reconciliation (delivered vs accepted vs returned), and support dispute/credit evidence.

7) Team Leadership (Analysts + Intern Ops)
Manage two analysts: task prioritization, quality review, coaching, and accountability.

Oversee intern operations: assign work, validate outputs, run training sessions, and speed up feedback loops.

Required Qualifications
4+ years in Revenue Ops / Growth Ops / Lead Ops / Business/Data Analysis in performance-driven environments.

Strong analytical and RCA skills; able to translate data into clear actions and stakeholder-ready communication.

Strong Tableau literacy for interpretation, QA, and reconciliation.

Comfortable working US-market overlap hours.

Nice to Have
Basic SQL; familiarity with experimentation methods.

Experience partnering with Product/Engineering and working with operational + buyer/client stakeholders.
