The Executive Assistant (EA) to the Director provides high-level administrative, organisational, and confidential support to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the Director’s office.
The role requires professionalism, discretion, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Executive Support

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director, including diary management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments.
Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, briefs, and official documents as required.
Manage the Director’s emails, phone calls, and official communications, ensuring timely follow-up and responses.
Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation, both electronic and hard copy.
Coordination & Liaison:

Act as the first point of contact between the Director and internal/external stakeholders, including staff, parents, board members, partners, and visitors.
Coordinate meetings, events, and official functions involving the Director, including logistics, agendas, and minutes where required.
Support communication flow between the Director’s office and other departments.
Confidentiality & Professional Conduct:

Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion and integrity.
Uphold the Academy’s values, policies, and safeguarding standards at all times.
Office & Operational Support:

Assist with monitoring deadlines, tracking action points, and ensuring follow-through on decisions made by the Director.
Support planning and organisation of strategic initiatives and school projects led by the Director.
Perform any other duties reasonably assigned to support the effective functioning of the Director’s office.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management, Secretarial Studies, or a related field.
Proven 3 years of experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or in a similar administrative role (experience in a school or educational setting is an advantage).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
High level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office / Google Workspace).
