Role Overview:
The Sales Associate is an entry-level role responsible for supporting revenue-generating activities at I-Train Africa. This role focuses on lead follow-up, sales support, outreach, and conversion assistance across ITA’s programs, trainings, and partnerships.
This is a hands-on execution role for someone eager to learn sales, customer engagement, and business development in an impact-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Lead Support
Support the sales process by following up on inbound leads and inquiries.
Assist in converting prospects into program participants or clients.
Respond to basic enquiries via email, WhatsApp, and social platforms.
Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, and outcomes.
Outreach & Engagement
Support outreach efforts to prospective individuals, schools, organizations, or partners.
Assist in preparing outreach messages, pitch decks, and follow-up materials.
Engage prospects professionally and represent I-Train Africa’s brand values.
Sales Operations & Tracking
Update CRM tools, trackers, or spreadsheets with lead and sales data.
Track daily and weekly sales activities and outcomes.
Support reporting on leads, conversions, and pipeline status.
Program & Campaign Support
Support sales activities tied to programs, events, and campaigns.
Assist with onboarding new participants or clients after conversion.
Work closely with marketing to align outreach with ongoing campaigns.
Customer Experience
Ensure prospects and customers receive timely responses and clear information.
Escalate complex enquiries to senior sales or program leads when necessary.
Help ensure a smooth and professional customer journey.
