We are hiring an experienced Accountant to support Skids logistics operations, the role requires close collaboration with project managers, Admins and procurement to ensure accurate cost control, budgeting, compliance and financial reporting across multiple projects.

Job description:

Financial reporting and analysis: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, profit and loss accounts, and balance sheets.
Conduct financial analysis to assess profitability and provide recommendations.
Payroll and taxes: Administer payroll, ensure compliance with tax legislation, and prepare tax returns.
Auditing and compliance: Conduct internal audits on financial transactions and operations.
Ensure the company complies with all financial laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
Cash flow management: Monitor cash flow, chase late payments, and report bad debts.
Maintaining a proper record of the financial transactions of the company.
Creating a database that can help in future business planning.
Risk evaluation and opportunity analysis.
Preparing monthly reports of the company’s financial statements as well as the profit information for the month.
Provide tax planning strategies in accordance with existing legislation
Create financial forecasts and analyse risk

Requirements:

Minimum of HND/BSc. degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional qualification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage.
Good understanding of Nigerian tax, financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Minimum of 2–3 years’ accounting experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Opera PMS) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.
