Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Accounting Specialist to manage financial records and support the finance team. In this role, you’ll ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our financial operations while collaborating with colleagues. Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare financial reports, statements, and summaries for management review.
Monitor cash flow, ensure timely invoicing, and track payments.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Collaborate with external auditors, accountants, and internal teams virtually.
Suggest process improvements for efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3 years+ proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Specialist, or similar role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote environment.
Ability to manage confidential financial information responsibly.

Salary
N500,000 / month (Non-negotiable).
