We are seeking a Business Relationship Manager in Lagos to join Moniepoint Inc. This is a remote role, ideal for professionals with 1–2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development within the banking, fintech, or related industries. The successful candidate will drive POS Merchant Acquisition, develop effective sales strategies, and identify new business growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development initiatives and acquire new customers by promoting the bank’s products and services.
- Engage in cross-selling of banking and financial solutions to existing clients.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media outreach.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to meet sales targets.
- Conduct daily meetings with the sales team to review performance and plan for upcoming activities.
- Maintain and nurture current business relationships.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and assess customer needs.
- Represent the company at community events, trade fairs, and marketing activities.
- Apply best practices to ensure customers’ needs and requirements are met.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on financial products and services.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall results.
- Collect feedback from customers and prospects to share with internal teams.
- Understand customer financial objectives and recommend suitable banking or financial solutions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 1–2 years of hands-on sales experience, preferably in banking, fintech, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of the local financial services market.
- Proven experience in merchant onboarding and sales within the banking or fintech sector.
- Experience selling lending services and POS devices to enterprise merchants is a plus.
- Strong business acumen with analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve goals with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) from a recognized institution.
