Backed by Y Combinator (W25), Theta is scaling rapidly and is seeking a Financial Modeling Specialist to support the growth of its AI-driven data labeling infrastructure. This fully remote, freelance opportunity is ideal for finance professionals with strong financial analysis, financial reporting, and Excel-based modeling expertise who thrive in flexible, high-ownership environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end financial and business models used to train and improve AI systems
• Review, refine, and enhance models created by other analysts, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and best-practice structure
• Partner with internal stakeholders to evolve financial modeling frameworks and standards
• (Optional) Mentor junior contributors by providing feedback or joining support calls
• Participate in recurring working sessions with the Theta team to continuously improve modeling quality
