We are seeking a highly motivated Business Developer (Remote) to drive business growth, generate leads, and strengthen client relationships. The ideal candidate is proactive, well-organized, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.

This role is ideal for professionals passionate about business development, sales training programs, and trending sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, source, and pursue new business opportunities across relevant sectors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities
  • Prepare business proposals, quotations, and professional presentations
  • Generate qualified leads through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other digital channels
  • Track and manage the sales pipeline, providing weekly performance and activity reports
  • Represent the company professionally during virtual meetings, presentations, and negotiations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are effectively met
  • Monitor client satisfaction and ensure seamless onboarding for new clients
  • Schedule, organize, and lead virtual sales meetings
  • Support proposal writing and respond to RFPs and client briefs
  • Attend virtual networking events, webinars, and professional forums to drive lead generation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience in business development or sales
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools such as Brevo, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, and other Zoho applications
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Familiarity with engineering, construction, technology, or design sectors is a strong advantage
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Experience using LinkedIn for lead generation is an added advantage
  • Strong lead-tracking, reporting, and organizational skills
